Lincoln is an American luxury automobile brand, operated under the Ford Motor Company. Founded in 1917 by Henry M. Lincoln is currently switching to a new naming system based around the "Mark" name used since the 1950s. Most Lincoln models will be given a three-letter name starting "MK" (for "Mark") starting in 2007. The Navigator and Town Car name will remain, but all other models are expected to use this convention by the end of the decade. The Lincoln Town Car is a rear wheel drive full-size luxury sedan and serves as the flagship of FordsLincoln luxury car division. The Lincoln Navigator is a full-size luxury SUV produced by Ford Motor Company for its luxury division Lincoln. Introduced in 1998, the Navigator was one of the first full-size luxury SUVs. The Lincoln Navigator is the largest luxury SUV made by the Ford Motor Company and is Lincolnsfirst four-wheel drive vehicle. Lincoln MKX is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV made by Fordsluxury marque, Lincoln.
